The Complete Alice In Wonderland Review

This was a very pretty graphic novel adaptation of both Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. The writer and artist did a bang up job making the world look dark, creepy, and mad (as a hatter). Just the way Alice should be. All of the familiar scenes are well done, and they have added a ‘lost chapter’ about a wasp in a yellow wig. I don’t think I need to go into much detail regarding the story; everyone knows Alice in Wonderland! What I will say is that the extra bits are lovely; there are letters from Carroll himself, details about how the story was written and printed, and other notes.

This annotated edition contains:

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There
Alice’s Adventures Under Ground
The Nursery “Alice”
The Hunting of the Snark
